Bumi is all about creating flowers with movement, texture and personality. We work with your colours, venue and ideas to create florals that feel considered without feeling overly styled.

Our Process

  • 1. Enquire & Tell Us About Your Day

    Share a little about your wedding — your date, venue, style and the flowers you’re dreaming of.

    We’ll confirm our availability and send through our Wedding Guide, including our packages, services and pricing, so you can explore what feels right for your day.

  • 2. Design & Quote

    I'll put together a personalised floral direction, quote and moodboard based on your wedding.

  • 3. Secure your date

    Once you're happy, your booking fee officially secures your wedding in the Bumi calendar.

  • 4. Final Details

    Around 6–8 weeks out, we'll confirm all the little details, timings and finishing touches.

  • 5. We bring it to life

    We bring it all together — from your bouquets to delivery, installation and styling.

Beautiful flowers, thoughtfully designed

Where possible, we work seasonally, minimise floral foam and design ceremony flowers with repurposing in mind — allowing your flowers to be enjoyed throughout more than one part of your celebration.

FAQs

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your wedding date and venue confirmed. Our 2027 & 2028 wedding books are now open, and popular dates can book quickly.

How much should we budget for wedding flowers?

Every wedding is different and your proposal will be tailored to your day. Most of our couples invest between $3,000–$8,000+ across their florals, styling and design, depending on the scale of the wedding and what you’d love to include.

Do you travel outside Melbourne?

Yes! We love travelling for weddings. Delivery, travel and any additional setup requirements are individually quoted depending on your venue and wedding plans.

Can our ceremony flowers be repurposed?

Absolutely. Where possible, we love designing your flowers with repurposing in mind. Ceremony arrangements may be able to move into your reception, helping you enjoy your flowers throughout more of your day.

Do you offer delivery, setup and pack-down?

Yes. Delivery, styling, setup and pack-down can all be incorporated into your custom proposal depending on what your wedding requires. These costs are quoted separately where applicable.

Do you offer vases, candles and styling pieces?

Yes. We have a growing hire collection including bud vases, vases, candles and candle holders, plinths, urns, easels, signage displays and other styling details. Hire items can be incorporated into your custom proposal.

Can you preserve my wedding flowers?

Yes! Your flowers don't have to end with your wedding day. We can transform flowers from your bouquet into keepsakes including pressed flower frames, resin keepsakes, botanical jewellery and personalised hat pins.

What happens after we enquire?

Once you enquire, we'll check your date and send through our Wedding & Event Guide, which covers our floral services, hire options and pricing guidance. From there, we'll learn more about your vision, create your moodboard and inspiration, prepare your custom proposal and work with you to refine everything before securing your date.
