A little care goes a long way.

Every Bumi piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, with many featuring real dried, preserved or natural botanical materials.

Just like nature, these materials can change subtly over time. With a little love and the right care, you can keep your Bumi piece looking beautiful for as long as possible.

Dried & Preserved Botanicals

Our dried and preserved flowers are real botanical materials and are naturally delicate.

To keep them looking their best:

• Keep away from water and high humidity
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may cause colours to fade
• Display indoors in a cool, dry space
• Handle gently and avoid pulling or bending stems and petals
• Remove dust carefully using a very soft brush or gentle air

Some fading, shedding and changes in colour or texture can naturally occur over time. This is part of the beauty of working with real botanicals.

Dreamcatchers

Bumi dreamcatchers feature a combination of handcrafted details and natural botanical materials.

We recommend displaying your dreamcatcher indoors and away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong airflow.

When moving your dreamcatcher, hold it by the hoop rather than the flowers or botanical elements.

If your piece includes a rainbow prism, gently wipe the glass with a soft, dry cloth when required.

Wreaths

Our botanical wreaths are best displayed indoors or in a well-protected undercover area.

Avoid exposure to rain, excessive moisture, strong winds and prolonged direct sunlight.

If displayed outdoors, natural materials may fade or weather more quickly over time.

Always handle your wreath by its base rather than by the flowers or foliage.

Resin & Coated Botanical Pieces

Many of our botanical accessories feature real natural materials that have been carefully coated or preserved.

To care for these pieces:

• Keep away from excessive heat
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
• Do not soak or submerge in water
• Avoid perfumes, hairsprays and harsh chemicals
• Store carefully when not in use
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth if required

As real botanicals are used, subtle variations and changes over time are completely natural.

Botanical Earrings

Your Bumi earrings are designed to be lightweight and wearable while still showcasing real botanical elements.

Always remove your earrings before showering, swimming or sleeping.

Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, moisturisers and other beauty products.

When you're not wearing them, store your earrings somewhere cool and dry, preferably in their original packaging.

Hat Pins, Hair Combs & Botanical Accessories

Our botanical accessories are handmade and should be handled gently.

Avoid crushing, bending or pulling the botanical elements when positioning your piece.

Keep accessories dry and store them safely when they're not being worn.

For hair pieces, we recommend creating and securing your hairstyle first, then gently placing your botanical accessory into position.

Natural Beauty

One of our favourite things about working with real botanicals is that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Small differences in colour, shape, texture and size are completely natural and make your Bumi piece uniquely yours.

Natural botanicals may gradually soften, fade or change with age. These changes aren't imperfections — they're part of the character of a piece created from nature.
